Summary
A large wooden box with a slide on lid, containing 3 wooden boards and 11 marbles plus a small key. The wooden box has 'B.H. Cadbury' written in ink on the base. The lid has a rectangular green paper label on the top with GARENNE/ A NEW GAME OF SKILL' printed in black. The 3 mahogany boards fit together with a dovetail joint. Each is rectangular; the front part has 2 semicircles cut out, with a number above each arch printed in black on a circular white paper disc, 3 and 1 on one arch, 2 and 4 on another, and 5 and 6 on the third. These pieces are fastened by three small tacks to an identical piece which fits flat to enable the first piece to stand firmly upright. There are 10 multicoloured glass marbles of various sizes plus a small grey metal one. Also in the box is a small grey metal key with a label attached reading 'Drawing/ Room/ window/seat' Total number of items is sixteen
