Summary
A toy horse made of three pieces of carved wood nailed together. The middle piece consists of the body, head and tail and the two outside pieces consist of the body and two legs each. The outside pieces of wood are three layers sandwiched together. The mane and tail are painted black and the facial features drawn in black ink. Each of its front feet are painted cream. It has the remains of a bridle and saddle made of red-brown (?) leather which are nailed on. The rider is a wooden figure with painted facial features. He has flat hinged wooden arms and legs with pink painted hands and black painted boots. He wears a wooden top hat turned in one piece with his head, a black hacking jacket and drab cord jodhpurs.
