Summary
A wooden box with a sliding lid, containing the playing pieces for a 'Frogs and Toads' board game. Pasted onto the lid is a green paper label with the name of the game printed in black ink. The sides of the box are partly covered in brown tape and string. The bottom inside of the box is lined with purple fabric. The box contains twelve metal frogs and toads. The frogs and toads are moulded onto a base. Six are circular, six are hexagonal. The frogs and toads are painted green, although the paint is worn in places. The bases have been painted blue or red, but are worn. The underside of each piece however is still bright. Also as part of these items are two playing boards. These are folded brown leather squares with gold coloured edging. One of the boards is taped together with brown tape. When opened, the boards are rectangular. One has a green background, the other a black background. In gold coloured ink are two parallel lines with fourteen flowers on each line. Some of the flowers are joined together to an opposite flower by X shaped lines. At one end of the lines is printed 'ENTER' the other end is printed 'OFF' with an arrow pointing away. Total number of items is sixteen
