Summary
An original cardboard box from the 'HOME FARM SERIES' (W.Britain) originally containing a model tree and gate. The box is square in shape and has a separate lid. The box is green on the outside and white on the inside with a plain cardboard coloured base. The sides of the box are worn in places and there are discoloured patches. The inside of the box has a torn patch. The box lid is green on the outside and white on the inside and has a square white label stuck on the top with black and white text and a line illustration. At the top of the label appears the text 'HOME FARM SERIES/ TREE AND GATE.' Below to the left is a line illustration of a tree with a farm gate beside it and to the right is a paragraph of text describing how the tree and gate can be used in combination with 'HOME FARM SERIES NOS. 526/ and 527 (Hedges and Hurdles)'. Below this are manufacturer details with the trade mark for 'W Britian' and the number 'No. 7 F.'. The edges of the box lid are worn and there are old sellotape pieces on two of the sides and a tear in the left hand side. Total number of items is two
