Summary
A metal train, comprising an engine, a tender, and nine carriages all are made of pressed tin with gold colour painted cast wheels. The engine has a tall 'rocket' like chimney, the tender is open top and front, each carriage has four window openings on each side and are painted in different colours. The engine and carriages can all be connected by a simple hook and eye coupling. Some of the carriages show evidence of at some time being numbered or lettered with a crayon or felt pen. The other two items included under this number are two similar lengths of rail, these are associated with the metal train only in that they are to be found in the same box. The gauge is quite different. The rails are fixed to the timber sleepers with authentic individual shoes pinned to the sleeper. The sleepers are then fixed to a substantial piece of timber. Total number of items is thirteen
