Summary
A green and red model of a steam hammer. Fastened to the hollow, sheet metal base, is a green cast iron upright frame with a square base. The upright has a curve cut into one side about half way up. At the top the frame bends over to hold an axle. On one end of the axle is a steel wheel with red painted spokes and a groove round the centre of the rim. At the other end of the axle is a solid metal wheel set off centre. Pressing against this is a spring encased rod which goes through the main frame down to a small bed. Thus when the wheel is turned this rod moves up and down.
