Summary
A tinplate, clockwork car (circa 1925) in almost mint condition. It has a black top section and green lower, with pale green markings, black mud guard and green and black striped running guards. The wheels have a solid red centre, grey tyres and the word 'CONTINENTAL' printed in pale green round the rim. The radiator is of a silver colured metal. It has an embossed radiator design with 'Bing' underneath. Inside is a uniform driver. The clockwork mechanism of spring and cogs is connected to the near wheel axle and worked by a separate key. Connected to one axle of the front axle is a piece of wire which goes through the centre of a long black coiled wire. This passes into the car and comes through the back window. On the other end of this wire is a small mechanism with two finger brackets and a central spring loaded plunger, presumably to steer the car. Total number of item is two.
