Summary
Tinplate clockwork ambulance. Cream body with a red cross on the front of the roof and at the rear of the ambulance. Black all in one front and rear mud guards and running board. On either side is written AMBULANCE. The number plate at the back reads W 1929. Above the rear window is written BCM/ WELLS. Beneath the word AMBULANCE on the left hand side (as you are looking at the front of the ambulance) is written REGISTERED/ WELLS/ O/ LONDON. Beneath the front grill is written BRITISH MADE. The driver wears a navy and white uniform. A metal hook near the rear right wheel is attached to the clockwork mechanism underneath.
