Summary
A turned wooden circular top with a separate turned wooden handle with string attached. (circa 1858 to circa 1860).The two circular holes in the cup end of the handle receive the spindle part of the top. Coloured paper discs and shapes are fitted to the top of the top and held in place by a turned wooden knob. A wooden box with hinged lid is divided into two compartments which contain 48 coloured discs and shapes. Some are painted black with pierced patterns. Total number of items is fifty one
