Summary
'Punch's Daughter' glove puppet (circa 1880). She has a carved and painted wooden head, hands, lower legs and feet, carved and painted blonde hair, and a carved and painted hat with an orange crown and a yellow band with blue spots. She has painted blue eyes, red mouth and red nostrils, a flesh coloured painted face and hands, and black painted lower legs and feet. She is wearing a navy fabric dress with red spots with red lace trim at the neck and on the skirt. The dress has navy man-made sleeves with a white floral pattern and the cuffs are trimmed in white lace. A gold coloured pin holds a small piece of gold coloured ribbon onto the front of her dress. She is also wearing pink drawers which are decorated with a navy circular pattern and the bottom edge is trimmed with lace.
