Summary
This tramp (or jockey) glove puppet, made in Germany, is possibly associated with Mr. Punch, Judy, the Daughter, and the Beadle. He has a composition head, left lower arm and hand, and carved and black painted wooden lower legs and feet. He has moulded and painted facial features - part of the hook nose is chipped. The right arm and hand are missing. He is wearing a checked black wool jacket with lace cuffs and maroon coloured breeches trimmed with lace. There is also a floral printed cotton neckerchief. He has a green and black painted moulded composition peak cap.
