Summary
A string toy - a pair of linked toy wrestling politicians representing Gladstone and Lord Salisbury (circa 1880). They have composition heads and torsos, and jointed shoulders receive a single piece of wood painted to represent their interlocking arms. They have jointed legs, and painted facial features. Gladstone wears a red jacket, green waistcoat and green trousers. Lord Salisbury wears a blue jacket, yellow waistcoat and red trousers.
