Summary
Sewing woman toy, a compostion figure seated on a wooden bench on square stand. The stand is painted green and the bench cream. There are two holes drillled in direct line in stand and bench. The broken left foot of the doll is attached to the base of the bench. Part of the left foot is loose. The doll has a composition body and moulded face with painted features and she wears a pair of metal and glass spectacles.In her right hand she holds a needle and thread and in the left hand a knitted stocking. Her muslin bonnet has a lace edging and a blue ribbon.She wears a brown cotton top with a brown,red and white motif.A navy fabric skirt and a brown and white striped cotton apron. A string is threaded through the top half of her body, when pulled the figure's head and arm move. The case label describes the toy as having a swinging weight movement. Presumably the swinging weight was attached to the string and is now lost. Total number of items is two
