Summary
An original cardboard box lid for a horse and cart with hay ladder. The box lid is green on the outside and white on the inside and has a white, printed, paper label, stuck on the top. On the centre label is a black and white line illustration of a horse and cart with a farmer figure stood by the horse. Above the illustration is the text 'HOME FARM SERIES/ TUMBREL'. To the left is the text 'Complete with/ Hay Ladder/ and Carter.' To the right is a descriptive explaining how the cart can be deconstructed. At the bottom is a rectangular manufacturers trade mark with text inside reading 'MANUFACTURED BY W BRITAIN IN LONDON/ ENGLAND.'. To the right is the number 'NO.4F'. The label has yellowed with age and has tears on the surface and edges and pieces missing on the edges. The box is dirty and worn on the corners. There are 6 small holes pierced in one of the sides and 6 holes pierced in one of the ends.
