Summary
A wax shoulder-headed doll with painted facial features. (circa 1820). The head has brown blotches - it appears as if the surface coating is deteriorating. Wax arms and hands and green wax feet. Wearing a cream muslin short sleeved dress with 10 pin tucks above the hem. A red and white striped ribbon is tied at the high waist in a bow at the back. Pink satin petticoat, cream cotton inner petticoat, cream cotton pantaloons with pin tucks. The pantaloons appear to be lined with deteriorating and faded pink satin.
