Summary
A wax on composition or wood headed doll (pumpkin head doll) in a wood and glass case. She has a wax head and wax hair which is a yellow colour. Her face is pink with red lips and she has fixed glass eyes. Her hair is parted at the centre and is dressed high on her head. She wears a blue fabric dress with wide collar trimmed with lace. She has short sleeves also trimmed with lace and with pink bows on her shoulders. She has a blue ribbon tied to her waist and a large pink bow part way down her skirt. She wears a cotton and lace trimmed petticoat beneath. It is not possible to examine her body and limbs, but her arms appear to be made from painted wood. She stands on a solid round wooden base. The case has a solid back, top and bottom and has 5 glass panels which make up the front. The inside is painted white . One glass panel seems to be held down by an L-shaped metal plate into the case side. Total number of items is two
