Summary
An English wax shoulder-headed doll with moulded facial features, painted eyebrows and inset blue glass eyes. Short, brown, real hair. Wax lower arms, hands, lower legs and feet. Crudely moulded fingers and toes. The back of her shoulder-head is deeply cracked and may be detached from the front. Wearing a brown cotton dress with matching cape. The sleeves and hem of the dress are trimmed with cream lace. White cotton outer petticoat trimmed with lace; plain white cotton inner petticoat; cream cotton drawers trimmed with lace. Cream and mauve crocheted wool socks. Grey and mauve velvet bonnet trimmed with cream lace. Both the bonnet and the cape tie at the neck with a ribbon.
