Summary
An early 1930s celluloid-headed 'Shirley Temple' doll made by The Ideal Novelty and Toy Company. Open and shut brown glass eyes with real hair upper eyelashes, open mouth with teeth, blonde mohair wig. Composition head, body, jointed arms, hands, jointed legs and feet. Wearing a pink check gingham dress with smocking on the bodice. Blue-grey and pink striped all in one under garment, cream woollen knitted bootees with ribbons. It is possible that the shoes are not orginal to the doll.
