Summary
A bisque-headed My Dream Baby doll manufactured by Armand Marseille. Open and shut blue glass eyes, painted blond hair and lips. Stuffed cloth body, arms, legs and feet. Moulded pink celluloid hands, on the base of the palm of each is a turtle inside a lozenge shape (the mark of the Schildkrote (celluloid) factory). The hands appear very small in relation to the head. Wearing a white cotton pinafore decorated with pink herring bone stitching on bodice and straps and white lace near hem. Cream machine knitted long-sleeved top trimmed with lace at neck. White flannel nappy (or pilch) which fastens with white plastic buttons.
