Summary
A set of 6 doll's house size wooden Dutch or peg wooden dolls, each with jointed arms and legs, painted facial features and black painted hair. 4 of these dolls are attached to a piece of cardboard. 2 are contained in a minature wooden box with a hinged lid. The smaller doll in the box has lost her left leg. The sides and base of the box are covered in a red, yellow and green tartan paper. The lid of the box is decorated with a red, blue and yellow long tailed bird sitting in a tree. There is also a ceramic, glazed frozen charlotte doll with painted facial features and black hair. She is enclosed in a piece of mauve fabric tied with cream lace and blue wool. There is also a hollow turned wooden egg in two halves. One half is painted pink, the other yellow. Inside is a turned dolls house size wooden doll with painted facial features, wearing a painted blue and green outfit. There is also a rectangular wicker cane basket with a hooped handle at each end. The basket is lined with maroon satin. Around the four exterior sides of the basket is a foliate design in red cross-stich. Total number of items is ten
