Summary
A bisque-headed doll made by the manufacturers Heinrich Handwerck, and Simon and Halbig. Open and shut grey glass eyes, open mouth with teeth. Pierced ears, no earrings. Auburn mohair wig. Composition body (possibly repainted), wooden jointed arms, hands, jointed legs and feet. Two rings on cords connected to a voice box inside the doll. Wearing a white crochet dress, white cotton petticoat and drawers both trimmed with lace. Black crochet socks and cream leather shoes each fasten with an ankle strap and button. A brown hair net is held in place with hair pins.
