Summary
A composition solid headed 'old man' doll. His head is attached to a metal rod on which it swivels round. He has painted and moulded facial features with painted facial details. He has a moulded and painted grey beard and hair. The top of his head is attachd to the top of the metal rod, but not to his head. He has a wooden body with wooden arms and wooden carved hands. His legs and feet are also made out of wood, the legs are jointed and have been painted cream with red painted shoes. He is wearing a purple fabric top which is faded at the front. Around his waist is tied green thread. He has blue breeches which have a hole at the top of his right leg and reveal the joint. As his head is weighted, he may have been a tumbling toy.
