Summary
A doll entirely made of fabric. Her head may have a papier mache base which has been covered with fabric. Painted facial features and blonde mohair wig arranged in two plaited rolls covering each ear. The hair on the top and back of her head is missing. Stuffed cloth body and jointed arms, her left arm is bent at the elbow. The fingers are separately stitched with painted nails. Jointed legs with black satin heeled shoes. Wearing an orange silk dress with a full, gathered skirt, fitted bodice and lace trimmed collar. There is possibly some mould on the dress. The hem and bodice are trimmed with grey, pink and mauve silk. There are two faded pink artificial flowers at the front of the bodice. Wearing one blue and one green chiffon petticoat both trimmed with lace, a white, stiff, pleated open-weave petticoat, a white cotton petticoat with chiffon trim and white satin drawers. Pale pink machine knitted stockings. Flattened woven straw hat with pale blue ribbon, part of which is detached from the hat.
