Summary
A 'Chad Valley' 1930s (possibly) doll with a moulded face made of stiffened felt with mohair hair, painted eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, nostrils and mouth. She may have had her hair cut shorter at some point. Cloth body, jointed arms and legs (all stuffed). Fingers defined by stitching. Wearing a pale blue felt bodice with blue thread criss-cross front fastening. Very faded blue and white check skirt and white apron with frill. White cotton petticoat with white lace trim. White cotton knickers with white lace trim. White fine wool large brimmed floppy hat. The skirt, her right arm and right foot all have moth holes. Blue felt shoes with buttoned strap also have moth holes and moth faeces inside one.
