Summary
Two Lenci dolls, made from felt fabric, the head being moulded with painted facial features. The eyes are brown and look to the right. The arms are sewn on at the shoulder and end in hands which have most fingers separate, only the third and fourth fingers are in one piece, separated by stitching. The legs are jointed at the hip like a teddy bear's. The doll on display has shoulder-length, blonde, mohair hair, with a side parting on the left. She is wearing a bright pink felt dress which is decorated on the skirt with squares and lines of white felt and diagonal lines of blue felt, with the cuffs of the short sleeves and the collar of white felt with a blue felt trim. A fine cream fabric is used to make an attached frilled underskirt. Under this she wears drawers in the same cream fabric over a piece of underwear which resembles a camisole top with pants combined, in white cotton. She also wears cream knitted socks and bright pink felt shoes with tie straps. The other doll is in store and has short, blonde, mohair hair, with a side parting on the left. She is wearing a yellow dress which is of a very fine fabric decorated with lines of yellow stitching and felt flowers of white, yellow, green and blue, and has a bodice, sleeve cuffs and scallopped hem of yellow felt. The dress has a Peter Pan collar in a fine cream fabric which is also used to make an attached frilled underskirt. Under this she wears drawers in the same cream fabric over a piece of underwear which resembles a camisole top with pants combined, in white cotton. She also wears cream knitted socks and lime green felt shoes. Total number of items is two
