Summary
A German wax over composition doll with wax head and wax forearms. Painted facial features, glass inset blue eyes, light mohair(?) plaited hair arranged in a circle around head. Glass and gold coloured metal drop earring attached to ear (right one missing). Cloth body, upper arms and legs stuffed. Wearing a blue and cream bustle dress with lace trim to bodice and skirt. Skirt badly worn at back. Pleated frill edged in blue at bottom of skirt. Blue and cream lace edged cuffs with white ceramic buttons. White cotton petticoat with lace trim and white cotton drawers with lace trim. Knitted white cotton(?) stockings and brown leather heeled boots with white ceramic buttons.
