Summary
A 'French Bisque-headed fashion doll', with bisque head, arms and hands. Kid body, legs and feet. Painted facial features, blue inset glass eyes, pierced ears and blonde mohair(?) hair tied in black velvet ribbons. Wearing a short sleeved maroon dress decorated with black braid and a black silk(?) belt. Fastens at the back with 4 black silk(?) covered buttons and an eye (the hook is missing). White cotton outer petticoat with pleated trim at hem over a scalloped edge hem to petticoat. Cream flannel petticoat with embroidered herringbone stitches. White cotton drawers with pin tucks and crepe(?) scalloped edge. White cotton camisole. One pale blue fine machine knitted sock on right foot (left sock missing). Maroon pleated bag decorated with black braid to match dress.
