Summary
An English poured wax shoulder-headed doll with inset grey glass eyes, moulded and painted facial features and short blonde mohair wig. Stuffed cloth body, upper arms and upper legs. The wax shoulder-head is sewn onto the stuffed cloth body via holes strengthened with metal eyelets. The arms and legs are treated the same. Lower arms, hands, lower legs and feet are all wax. Wearing a long white cotton petticoat trimmed with lace at hem, neck and arm-holes. A long cream flannel petticoat with a white cotton bodice, trimmed with lace; a white camisole, trimmed with lace and a cream wool short sleeved vest. Cream wool crocheted bootees woolen laces with pom-poms. Also in the box are the following items - a white cotton christening gown with a lace panel running the whole length at the front, lace at neck and hem, fastening at back with cotton ties. Two bonnets, one cream flannel with cream ribbon ties and embroidered edges; the other made entirely of cream lace with cream ribbon ties. Total number of items is four
