Summary
A wax on composition shoulder head boy doll (circa 1860), with moulded and painted black hair, inset black glass eyes, moulded nose (chipped) and painted facial details. He has composition hands, arms, legs and feet. He wears a dark blue velvet hat with a feather and red rosette at the front and a red ribbon at the back, a dark brown velvet jacket with a white collar and cuffs, a tartan kilt and sash, and red drawers with three moth holes. He has white knitted stockings and black leather shoes. Under his jacket he wears a pleated white shirt.
