Summary
A bisque-headed doll with open and shut brown glass eyes, made by S.F.B.J. (Societe Francaise de Fabrication de Bebes et Jouets). Open mouth with teeth. Pierced ears - no earrings. Real brown hair in ringlets, real brown hair upper eyelashes. Flesh coloured composition body, jointed arms and hands with separately moulded fingers and thumbs. Flesh coloured composition jointed legs and feet. Wearing a cream satin brocade dress with matching deep collar and lace at neckline and arm holes. There is a matching brocade ruffle near the hem. Cream satin lining or underskirt trimmed with lace. White cotton embroiderie anglais petticoat, cream cotton petticoat. White cotton knickers trimmed with lace. Cream machine knitted socks, cream leather shoes with ankle straps. Large woven raffia hat with a beige ribbon tied in a bow around the crown. The brim is decorated with a bunch of coloured artificial flowers.
