Summary
A wooden toy consisting of a flat cut-out clown with jointed arms and legs (circa 1920). His head and body are painted black amd his eyes, head hands and feet are painted white. He stands on a square wooden platform under which is a rotating disc with a cam. This raises and lowers a rod when the toy is placed next to a gramophone so that the edge of the turntable turns the wooden disc on the toy, causing the clown to 'dance'.
