Summary
A constructional toy entitled 'Gilbert Erector' in it's orginal box. The outside of the box has an illustration of a man congratulating two boys who have made a scaffolding sort of bridge. Inside the box are components of the kit, constising of wheels, strips, angle iron, flat perforated plates, nuts and bolts etc. Further small boxes contain small components. There is an instruction manual, a catalogue of separate erector parts, the printed list of contents of the set and the factory inspector's voucher is dated 'Oct 14.1924'. On the top of the box the words 'Gilbert/ Erector/ THE TOY LIKE STRUCTURAL STEEL' are printed.
