Summary
A damaged, rectangular red cardboard box with a removable lid containing Lott's Tudor Blocks (circa 1930 to circa 1939). On the lid is a colour printed label depicting a boy building a model Tudor house with the Lott's Tudor blocks. Printed above and below the boy is 'LOTT'S TUDOR BLOCKS/ STONE TOY BUILDING BRICKS - BRITISH MADE/ With these Bricks Boys/ and Girls of all ages can/ make perfect Models of/ Old English, and other/ half-timbered buildings. This Box is complete with Bricks,/ Roofs, Windows and Doors, and/ instructions for building 54 models/ including - Cottage, Lych Gate,/ Bungalow and Sea-/ side Shelter, etc./ With the addition of No. 3A to/ this Box, the larger models in No./ 4 can be built./ COPYRIGHT (1911 ACT) ALL RIGHTS RESERVED/ 3/ MANUFACTURED BY LOTT'S BRICKS, Ltd., WATFORD, ENGLAND.' Inside the box is a piece of removable corrugated cardboard and a slim compartment. Also in the box is a 29 page colour printed booklet providing illustrations of the different models which can be assembled using the blocks. Also inside the box are different shaped stone blocks - some with black stripes, imitating Tudor timbers; some decorated with elaborate red brick patterns; some decorated with green lattice windows; some plain. There are 2 doors and 6 green printed cardboard roof sections, some hinged. Total number of items is 89.
