Summary
An abacus on a rectangular wooden base which has two polished wood dowels centrally positioned on the two shorter sides. This object was donated by E J Arnold and Son Ltd, Leeds in 1982. Three arched metal rods go across from one dowel to the other. There are five round plastic balls on each rod. The lower balls are red, the middle ones black and the top ones are yellow.
