Summary
An original cardboard box for a Fisher- Price shape sorter toy (circa 1982). The box has a red lid printed in white '414' and 'Fisher-Price', and a picture showing a yellow posting box with a blue lid and coloured shapes. A similar colour picture of the posting box is repeated on two sides of the box. The other two sides have a colour photo of a baby playing with the posting box, and a description of the toy in English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch and Italian. Printed on the base of the box is 'copyright 1978, 1980 Fisher-Price Toys, East Aurora, New York 14052/ Division of the Quaker Oats Company/Assembled in Belgium by Fisher-Price Toys, includes parts from U.S.A. / Trademarks of the Quaker Oats Company,/ Fisher-Price licensed user./ The right is reserved to improve and amend/ specifications and colours./ Package printed in Germany.' The leaflet, printed in colour, has a blue cover with Fisher-Price repeated across it in white. Super imposed on this are pictures of children playing with toys.
