Summary

A wooden, stackable rooster toy made from differently shaped pieces, manufactured by Brio, in its original cardboard box, (circa 1982). The black lacquered base with the manufacturer's logo 'BRIO' and 'Made in Sweden' stamped underneath has a white, rubber-like material pin fixed into it. 4 wooden shapes painted green, blue, red and yellow form the body (2 conical shapes joined together at their widest part). The rooster's head is wooden, painted white with a yellow, pointed nose (beak) and a red, felt cockscomb stuck in a slit in the middle of its head. The box is made of cardboard. One long side has a photograph of a child playing with the dismantled toy, and the manufacturer's logo 'BRIO' printed in yellow and red on a black background and the words 'From 2 years' printed in 6 languages on the top edge. On the other long side is a photograph of the rooster. On the remaining two long sides (red) are descriptions of the wooden toy in 6 languages - 'Rooster - Albert/From 2 years/ A rooster made from brightly coloured and differently shapes pieces./ Using its imagination the child can also build many other figures. For the safety of the child the stacking pin is made of bendable material and the lacquer is non-toxic.' The logo 'BRIO' and 'wooden toys' in 4 languages are printed on the left side of these 2 long sides. The logo 'BRIO' and 'No [colon]/ 0128/ 31728' and 'wooden toys' in 4 languages with a small photograph of the rooster are printed on the two ends of the cardboard box. Total number of items is seven
