Summary
Sculpey (clay) doll named Briar Rose who has a fabric body and sculpey hands.Moulded facial painted features. White,green and gold cotton plaited 'hair' under a maroon quartered silk cap decorated with a green roundel. A green bodice and brown leggings. The fabric covered arms become branches of a briar rose and are decorated with relief leaves. The pointed red and green shoes have plaited thongs which wind round and up the legs. Real rose thorns protrude from various parts of the body. In her right hand she holds an artificial rose branch and there is a single briar rose on the left side of the bodice.
