Summary
A 'Happy Families' card game published by 'John Jaques and Son Ltd.' and possibly circa 1900 (first published in circa 1860) consisting of a two part packet and 44 cards. The cards have green backs which have 12 roundels with inset figures.On the white end of the green inner packets is the price, one shilling. On the outside of the box, printed in blue ink, is 'Happy Families A NEW AND MOST Diverting Game for Juveniles'. On the reverse side is a list of available games (and their prices) produced by John Jacques and Son Ltd. Total number of items is 46.
