Summary
A child's white ceramic plate decorated with colour transfer illustrations of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle and Lucie collecting laundry. Also on the plate is the following extract from the 'Tale of Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle' by Beatrix Potter, 'When they had finished tea, they tied up the clothes in bundles; and Lucie's/ pocket-handkerchiefs were folded up inside her clean pinny,/ -and came out and locked the door, and hid the key under the door-sill'.
