Summary
A wax shoulder-head doll with wax arms and legs attached over stuffed fabric body. She is undressed, but there are two dresses inside the box, presumably belonging to the doll. She has a thick wax head and shoulders, with painted facial details and brown glass eyes. Her light brown hair appears to be real. Her head is positioned so that it is tilted slightly to the right. She is jointed at the shoulders and hips and her thick baby-like wax arms and legs are attached with pieces of string which are threaded through metal holes on the wax and through the stuffed fabric on the body. A doll's fine, white, cotton, dress with short sleeves. The dress is plain and has a wide neck. It opens at the back and fastens at the neck with a metal hook and at the waist with a white cotton tape tie. It has a thick waist band and the skirt is gathered. A doll's pink silk, dress, with long sleeves. The dress is very worn and the frayed all over the surface. It has a fine silk collar at the neck and a fine silk trim at the cuffs. It fastens at the back with a metal hook at the neck, waist and part way up. The skirt has a deep frill half way down. Total number of items is 3.
