Summary
An Action Man jeep (circa 1980) in its original box, which includes many accessories. The jeep is made from green plastic with black plastic tyres and steering wheel and silver-coloured metal axles. Most of the accessories are also made from green or black pastic. The accessories, contained in a clear plastic bag, are two black machine guns with silver-coloured ends (which can be attached to the jeep's bonnet with a mounting in two pieces made from green plastic), three jerry cans (green with black stoppers), a green spade and silver-coloured wire cutters (both of which have a separate green clip for attaching to the side of the jeep). Also in the bag are a square black plastic storage bin which fits into a hole in the rear section of the jeep, and two straps made from narrow black elastic with a gold-coloured metal hook at each end, for securing items on the bonnet. There is also a green cotton camouflage net in a separate (unopened) clear plastic bag, and a small, unidentified piece of green plastic. Also in the box are a sheet of coloured stickers for decorating the jeep, a 'Star Collector Card', a black-and-white sheet which shows how the accessories are attached on one side and has a story on the other, and a colour-printed sheet which details many Action Man figures and accessories. There is also a small box made from brown corrugated cardboard which fits round a post projecting from the top of the jeep (for mounting the machine guns). The original box is colour-printed and features the logo 'Action Man Transport Command' on each side and each end, along with 'Armoured Jeep', the maker's name (Palitoy), and a picture of Action Man using the jeep and the machine gun. Total number of items is 27.
