Summary
A 1920s machine made lace bonnet decorated with a pink ribbon. The bonnet may be a fancy dress garment. The ribbon is tied ina bow and there are two artificial roses at the front. The 'rose' was decorated with feathers, but only a few remain. Behind the 'roses' are pieces of stiff green thread to give the impression of stalks. An ordinary ribbon is tied at the back of the bonnet. The top of the bonnet is decorated with a circular 'button' of pink silk.
Provenance
Donated to the Museum of Childhood by D. E. Embrey in October 1980.
