Summary
A bisque-headed doll, possibly a young girl. She has moulded and painted facial features, with open-and-shut blue glass eyes, a slightly open mouth with teeth visible, and long, blonde mohair hair. Her body, arms and legs are of composition, jointed at the shoulders and tops of legs. At the toe end of her right foot a small piece has broken off and is missing. She is wearing a cream satin dress, gathered at the neck edge with lace at the hem, over a cream linen shift which has lace at the cuffs of the short sleeves and at the neck (these edges protrude from under the dress). There is a small hole in the front of the dress. Her black socks with red cuffs and light brown shoes have been painted on.
