Summary
Bisque headed doll, possibly made by Armand Marseille, with wooden body, arms and legs. Painted facial features, open mouth with teeth and brown mohair shoulder length hair with a fringe. Grey glass eyes probably originally opened and closed. Wearing a pink cotton dress with long sleeves with gathered cuffs decorated with smocking and lace. Crochet motif on bodice, pin tucks and ruffles on skirt; white cotton petticoat with lace trim; white petticoat with cotton bodice and flannel skirt; knee length white cotton drawers with lace trim; white leather ankle strap shoes with 'pearl' button and bow trim. Pink cotton bonnet with wired brim and lace trim; pink and black printed, possibly velveteen, cloak with hood.
