Summary
A pin cushion doll with a composition head, dressed as a pedlar. The face is moulded and painted, with black eyes and red lips. It has moulded black hair. She is carrying a painted wooden, peg type baby doll, wrapped in red flannel. There are some cracks in the face. She is wearing a black bonnet with lace under trim, a red, grey yellow and green paisley patterned shawl, a black and white apron over a red and white striped skirt. The pin cushion base is made of three circular layers of black felt and one of red felt. Most of the material has some evidence of wear and insect damage.
