Summary
A bisque-headed doll with open and close brown glass eyes, open mouth with teeth, painted facial details and blonde mohair hair. Pierced ears (no earrings). Wooden body, jointed arms and hands, jointed legs and feet, (all covered with painted gesso). Wearing a pink man-made fabric dress with a pleated bodice and full skirt. Near the hem is a line of pink embroidery. Cream lace trim to neck and cuffs. Around the waist is a pink ribbon sash tied in a bow at the back. Over the dress she wears a cream net apron trimmed with lace, which fastens at the back. A white cotton petticoat trimmed with lace; a cream flannel petticoat with an embroidered scalloped edge; white cotton drawers trimmed with lace. White cotton camisole or other under garment (it is difficult to distinguish as cannot easily be removed). Cream knitted socks. White leather shoes with ankle straps which fasten with white ribbons. On the sole of each shoe is the number 5.
