Summary
A wax covered composition head with moulded and painted facial features. The blue glass eyes open and close. She has a blond hair wig (on canvas) drawn to a bun with two small hair pins. The head extends into the shoulders. Most of the body feels like stuffed fabric. The arms are jointed at the shoulders and made of composition. The legs are jointed at the hips, the thighs are stuffed fabric and the knees and feet are composition. She is wearing cotton drawers, a silk petticoat and an embroidered petticoat. She has a blue dress of plain and striped fabric. It has lace at the neck, a ruched panel to the hips and then a very complicated gathered and frilled skirt that forms a sort of bustle at the back. The dress closes with button at the back. The long sleeves are ruched at the top, plain below the elbow and lace at the cuff. She is wearing red and purple knitted socks.
