Summary
A pair of navy blue and white striped woollen drawers for a child (circa 1890 to circa 1920). They are gathered on to a deep waistband which fastens with a fabric-covered button at the back. The drawers have been enlarged at some point, and the button is at the end of an added strip of black and white striped cotton. Attached to the top of the waistband are four long pieces of tape (two at the front and two at the back), for tying at the shoulders. Near the ends of the (separate) legs, the fabric is gathered into bands of the same fabric. They are quite well-worn and slightly dirty, with several holes near the bottoms of the legs.
