Summary
A selection of baby's knitted clothes in white wool - a cardigan, a bonnet, a pair of mittens and a pair of bootees (circa 1980) . A note on index card reads 'Knitted by a friend of Miss Duncan's, commissioned by Cherry Knott (former curator) in circa 1980 using 1930s patterns'. The bonnet has a folded brim, opens at the back and ties under the chin with a white ribbon. A white knitted baby's cardigan with crochet on the sleeves and below the waist. The cardigan fastens at the front with three white plastic buttons. White ribbons form ties at the collar. Two white knitted baby's bootees with a white ribbon threaded through at the ankles. The top edges are crocheted. Two white knitted baby's mittens with a white ribbon threaded through at the wrists. Total number of items is 6.
