Summary
A pair of girl's white cotton knickers, sold by 'Marks and Spencer' under their brand name 'St Michael' (circa 1980). The front section of polyester-cotton is embroidered with a pink and blue floral pattern. The legs and waist are edged with blue elastic. A 'St.Michael's' label gives information on size, fabric and washing instructions. There are several wear-holes. A white cotton child's vest. A discoloured white elastic lace forms the shoulder straps and decorates the bodice. There are several holes in the lower part, possibly where something has been pinned. A St.Michael label for the vest is separate and gives manufacturing details, washing and ironing instructions in coloured ink. Total number of items is 3.
